To provide enhanced services like data backup and cross-device synchronization, Hello Probashi offers an optional Login/Account System.
- Collected Data: If you choose to sign in via Google, we collect your Email Address and Profile Name.
- Purpose: This information is used strictly to identify your account and sync your saved data (Notes, Expenses) to our secure server.
- Optional: You can still use many features of the app without logging in.
2. AI Chatbot Assistant (New)
Our app features an AI Chatbot to provide instant assistance regarding expat queries.
- Data Processing: Any queries or text you enter into the AI Chatbot are processed to provide real-time answers.
- Privacy Guard: We do not link your personal identity (email/name) to the specific questions you ask the AI for marketing purposes.
- User Responsibility: We advise users not to share sensitive personal information (like passwords, bank PINs, or full Passport numbers) directly within the AI chat interface.
3. Cloud Data Storage & Backup
With our latest update, logged-in users can back up their personal data:
- What is Stored: Your Notebook entries and Expense Tracker records are encrypted and stored on our secure cloud server.
- Data Control: You have full control over your data. You can edit or delete your stored notes and expenses at any time through the app.
To provide features like the Expense Tracker and Notebook backup, your data is securely transmitted and stored on our private web server. This ensures that you can recover your information if you switch devices or reinstall the app. We use secure protocols (HTTPS) to transfer this data.
4. External Links
The app provides convenient links to official government websites for more facilities.
- Third-Party Sites: When you click on these links, you are redirected to official external websites (e.g., government portals).
- No Data Collection: Hello Probashi does not collect, see, or store any information you enter on those external websites (such as Passport or Iqama numbers). We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of those specific websites.
5. Location Usage
Location permission (Approximate location) is used only while the app is in use for:
- Showing your current city/country for a personalized experience.
- Calculating accurate prayer times and Qibla direction.
Note: We do not store your real-time location on our servers.
6. Information Collected Automatically
Certain data may be collected through trusted third-party services for app performance:
- Google Firebase: For crash logs and analytics.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): To send important notifications.
- Google AdMob: To display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers for personalized advertising.
7. Data Security & Deletion
We respect your right to privacy and provide full control over your data.
- In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the App Settings.
- Effect of Deletion: Once you delete your account, all your backed-up data (Email, Notes, and Expenses) will be permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.
- Request via Email: You can also request account deletion by contacting us at support@helloprobashi.app.
